Quo Vadis Human Resources (“Quo Vadis”, “we”, “us”) is the responsible party for personal information processed through this website. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”) and other applicable South African law.

Information we collect

If you contact us, we may receive your name, work contact details, company, the content of your enquiry and any information you choose to include. Our webserver may also create limited technical and security logs, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp and error data.

Why and on what basis we use it

We use information to respond to enquiries, discuss or deliver requested services, administer business relationships, secure and improve the website, keep appropriate records, and meet legal obligations. Depending on the context, processing is based on your consent, steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests where these do not unjustifiably affect your rights.

Sharing, international access and security

We do not sell personal information. We may share only what is necessary with trusted service providers, professional advisers, authorities when legally required, or another party as part of a lawful business change. Some technology providers may process data outside South Africa; where this occurs, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the stated purpose, a legitimate operational requirement, a contract, dispute management or a legal retention duty, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.

Subject to POPIA and PAIA, you may ask whether we hold your personal information; request access, correction or deletion; object to certain processing; withdraw consent for future processing; and complain to the Information Regulator. We may need proof of identity before acting on a request.

Communications and governing law

An email or website enquiry is considered received only when we acknowledge it. South African law governs use of this website, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of a competent South African court.

This website currently does not use advertising, profiling or third-party analytics cookies. It may store one basic preference in your browser so the cookie notice does not keep reappearing. That preference remains on your device and is not used to identify you.

Our hosting infrastructure may create essential technical logs for security, reliability and troubleshooting. If we later add non-essential analytics or marketing technologies, we will update this notice and request consent where required before activating them.

You can clear site data through your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential storage may affect minor site preferences but will not prevent you from reading the website.

Access to information

Requests for access to records under the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (“PAIA”), or for a copy of the applicable PAIA manual, may be sent to our Information Officer at the address above. A request must contain enough detail to identify the record, the requester and the right being exercised. Prescribed forms and fees may apply. We may refuse access where PAIA permits or requires it.

Before the business offers services for electronic purchase, it will publish any further supplier disclosures required for that transaction, including applicable legal status, registration, physical contact and pricing information.
